Calling all 8th-12th graders in Cowlitz or Wahkiakum Counties...
United Way of Cowlitz & Wahkiakum Counties and JoJo + CoCo Boutique are teaming up to illuminate United Ways focus on getting all students to graduate high school prepared for diverse post secondary opportunities and beyond, and to give our youth a fun opportuinty. Submit a video about "Why Graduation Matter" 5 boys & 5 girls will be awarded with brand new outfits of their choosing from JoJo + CoCo Boutique, and the top male & female winner will each receive a $500 scholarship fromthe Grant and Joanna Asplund Foundation.

HOW STUDENTS ENTER

  • Students only need a camera phone/camera and your creativity to enter.
  • Describe why graduation matters & is important to you, and what you aspire to learn, do, or be after graduation. Explain some long-term impacts of when people sucessfully graduate.
  • Video entries should be no more than 3 minutes long.
  • HAVE FUN & BE CREATIVE! Rap, rhythm, sing or speak. Although this is a contest, it should be fun for you too.

Contest videos will be uploaded to social media.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO OCTOBER 15, 2020!

When e-mailing in video please make sure to include in the body of the e-mail:

  • Your name
  • E-mail address
  • Phone number
  • Instagram handle (so we can tag you)
  • Grade that you are in
  • School that you attend
